OVERVIEW

This navigation departs from the port of Ushuaia and sails through the Beagle Channel, offering panoramic views of the city, Ushuaia Bay, and the surrounding mountains. Along the route, travelers can observe seabirds and sea lion colonies in the islands of the Bridges Archipelago.

The journey continues to the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse and then toward Isla Martillo, where an important colony of Magellanic Penguins and a smaller group of Gentoo Penguins can be seen from the boat before returning to Ushuaia.

ITINERARY

The excursion begins at the port of Ushuaia, located in the city center. Shortly after departure, the boat navigates through Ushuaia Bay, offering panoramic views of the city, the Maritime Museum, the End of the World Museum, the industrial area, and the surrounding mountains such as Olivia and Cinco Hermanos.

The navigation continues along the Beagle Channel toward the Bridges Archipelago. Here it is possible to observe colonies of Imperial Cormorants and South American sea lions resting on the islands, along with several seabird species typical of the region.

The journey then proceeds east toward the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, one of the most recognizable landmarks in the channel. In this area, travelers may also see the remains of the Monte Cervantes shipwreck.

The boat continues through the channel with scenic views of mountains and remote settlements such as Estancia Remolino, Puerto Almanza, and Puerto Williams on the Chilean side. After passing near Gable Island, the vessel approaches Isla Martillo, where an important colony of Magellanic Penguins and a smaller group of Gentoo Penguins can be observed from the boat.

After spending time observing the wildlife, the navigation returns to the port of Ushuaia.
