Half Day Ushuaia City Tour

This city tour of Ushuaia invites travelers to explore the southernmost city on the planet, set between the majestic Andes and the clear waters of the Beagle Channel. Led by local guides, the experience begins with a scenic drive through Ushuaia’s charming streets, showcasing its unique architecture and cultural flair. Key stops often include the Old Prison, offering a glimpse into its penal colony past, and the iconic End of the World sign, a symbolic landmark for travelers. The route also features panoramic viewpoints over the Beagle Channel—perfect for admiring the dramatic landscapes and spotting wildlife like dolphins or sea lions. Ushuaia, the capital of Tierra del Fuego, sits on the edge of the Beagle Channel and is framed by the Martial Mountains, offering a stunning combination of sea, mountains, forests, and glaciers unique to Argentina.

The tour takes us through Barrio La Misión, where the city was founded in 1884, and by the Provincial Legislature, formerly the Government House. We’ll continue to a higher section of the city with breathtaking panoramic views of Ushuaia and the Beagle Channel.

We’ll also pass by traditional homes of some of the first Fuegian families. On our return, we’ll explore the local industrial area, finishing at the Maritime Museum and former Presidio. Visitors may choose to stay and explore the museum (admission not included) or return by bus to their hotel.
