ITINERARY

Experience an unforgettable adventure to Martillo Island, where you’ll walk among a thriving colony of Magellanic and Gentoo penguins in the stunning Beagle Channel. This unique excursion also includes a visit to the historic Harberton Ranch, offering insight into the region’s rich heritage.

  • Meeting point: Ushuaia Tourist Pier at 2:00 PM

  • Travel by land along Route No. 3 and Route J, stopping at the Flag Tree, a famous wind-shaped landmark.

  • Board zodiac boats for a 15-minute navigation to Martillo Island Penguin Reserve.

  • Disembark and walk among the penguins for approximately 1 hour, observing their natural behavior and capturing unforgettable photos.

  • Visit the Museum of Bones and Historical Center before returning by zodiac.

  • Optional: Visit Harberton Ranch, including (Entrance fee to Harberton Ranch not included):

    • A guided tour of the historic town.

    • Entrance to the Museum of Birds and Mammals.

    • Access to restrooms and a café (optional purchases available).

  • Return to Ushuaia by land.
