ITINERARY

DAY 1

Arrive to Ushuaia

Welcome to Ushuaia International Airport
Arrive at Ushuaia, the world’s southernmost city, famously known as the “End of the World.” Nestled between the Martial mountain range and the Beagle Channel, this enchanting destination serves as the capital of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica, and the South Atlantic Islands Province. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks, glaciers, and dense forests, Ushuaia is a gateway to incredible natural beauty.

Today, we will enjoy a wonderful activity to visit Gable Island
The adventure begins with hotel pick-up in Ushuaia and a drive east along National Route 3 and Route J. Upon arrival at Estancia Harberton, you’ll visit the Marine Mammal Museum and tour the grounds of one of Tierra del Fuego’s earliest European settlements.

From there, board a motorized zodiac boat and sail toward Martillo Island, where you’ll observe penguins in their natural breeding habitat — a charming and unforgettable sight.

The journey continues to the majestic Gable Island, your main destination of the day. After disembarking, enjoy a delicious lunch paired with Patagonian red wine, soft drinks, and mineral water.

Once lunch and coffee are served, set out on a guided hike across this untouched island, where relics of the Yámana people and early settlers still remain. Surrounded by wind, birdsong, and endless scenery, you’ll feel like you’ve reached the edge of the world.

After roughly two hours of walking, return by boat to Puerto Harberton, where your bus will be waiting to take you back to Ushuaia.

DAY 2

Tierra del Fuego NP with trekking
Tierra del Fuego National Park + Trekking

This full-day adventure combines scenic exploration and active hiking in Tierra del Fuego National Park, located just outside Ushuaia. Led by expert local guides from our company, the experience includes off-the-beaten-path trekking through pristine forests, peat bogs, and along lakes and rivers, with opportunities to spot native birds and other wildlife. The trail typically reaches Lapataia Bay, at the southern end of the Pan-American Highway. A highlight is enjoying a picnic-style lunch in the wilderness.  This is a perfect option for nature lovers looking for an immersive, active experience in Patagonia’s southernmost national park.

Lakes Off Road, enjoying the heart of Tierra del Fuego Island

After breakfast, we will enjoy our last adventure activity in Ushuaia

Lagos Off-Road is one of the top adventure experiences in Ushuaia, offering an authentic 4×4 journey led by expert off-road drivers. Aboard a 4WD vehicle, we’ll navigate through forests and rivers, tackle challenging muddy trails, and drive along the edge of a lake with breathtaking views.

This adventure is open to all travelers! Those with reduced mobility or who prefer a more relaxed experience can explore, take photos, or simply immerse themselves in the area’s stunning nature. The warm company of our guides, the renowned meal at our refuge on Lake Fagnano, and a shared toast with Argentine Malbec will make for an unforgettable experience.

Throughout the day, we’ll explore Tierra del Fuego’s landscapes at a leisurely pace, making this adventure accessible to anyone eager to break free from limits.
